BHEL bags contract from NTPC; shares rise

For a consideration of more than ₹9,500 crore, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd has won a contract from NTPC Ltd to provide the EPC package for the Singrauli Super Thermal Power Project Stage-III (2×800 MW), located in the Sonebhadra District of Uttar Pradesh.
