In the Col. CK Nayudu trophy match against Railways on Wednesday, February 21, Andhra batter Vamshhi Krrishna followed in Yuvraj Singh’s footsteps by hitting six sixes in one over.
While destroying Stuart Broad in the first Twenty20 World Cup in 2007 on his way to a fifty off of just 12 balls, Yuvraj became one of the few hitters in cricket history to accomplish the feat. Following in the all-rounder’s footsteps, Krrishna bowled Railways spinner Damandeep Singh to death with some exquisite hitting.
Watch as the Andhra batsman unleashes a barrage of vicious strikes on Wednesday in a video that will be posted on the BCCI domestic X account.
After a flawless sweep, Krrishna unleashed three straight powerful strokes.
When the Railways leg-spinner saw Krrishna hit another sweep ball for six, he realized he was out of options. As a way to celebrate his last ball, the Andhra batsman swung his bat towards his teammates in the locker room. He then hit a back foot pull shot.
