20 things happened so far in a Week of Trump Administration??

US elections 2024 was one of the most highlighted events of 2024. Trump scored 312 electoral votes over the Democratic candidate Kamal Harris, which exceeds the total total required to claim the throne of the President of the United States.

But it took Trump two month and a half month before he worn the gown of the most powerful man on our Planet.

On 20th January 2025, Trump assumed the office and since then the social media is enjoying the best time of their lives as Trump has given them all too much material to discuss.

Like a Fiery Boss and a man on mission Trump has been signing executive orders one after another, making statements which would put a Hollywood movie with lots of plot twists to shame and claiming one country after another.

The first week of his in the office has been the most exciting one week in recent times. So much has happened.

Let us see what has happened so far since Trump took the oval office –

1. The first, the very first executive order which Trump signed after assuming his office was to pardon the individuals who were involved in the capital riots of the January 6th, 2021, a sad incident which happened after the Trump lost in 2020 and before was about to leave the oval office.
2. He immediately ended the citizenship birthrights which various immigrants used to claim citizen in the United States. However, this move of his was later challenged in the court and was considered unconstitutional.
3. One of the biggest newsmaker was when he withdrew from the membership of World Health Organization (WHO) explaining why are the biggest donors to the organization when it does nothing for the country. His contention was that more countries should donate the equal money as United States as they are capable of donating. China stepped up later saying it will make up for the lack which would be caused by US funding. Later Trump showed desires to join WHO back.
4. Another big withdrew he made was from the Paris climate agreement. It appears his threats of withdrawing from these agreements is to put them in their place as they claim a lot but literally do nothing and US funds are often used in the luxurious lifestyles of its members.
5. He immediately appointed, the famous border Czar Tom Homan back to the job and declared the National Emergency the South Borders. This move tightened the border security. Military forces were also used to enhance the border operations helping the ICE (Immigrations and Custom Enforcements).
6. He reinstated his 2019 immigration policy “Remain in Mexico” for those seeking asylum in United states. This policy requires that the migrants applying for United states citizenship would remain in Mexico till the time their court date for the same comes.
7. He immediately put a halt to the United States Refugee Policy for the asylum’s seekers filtering the influx of refugees coming in the country.
8. He put an end to the various programs in the highly misused Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) in the Federal Governments giving a relief to the people who were annoyed with the all gender debates.
9. He also lift the suspended the Chinese app giant Tik Tok for 75 days, giving them a signal he is not against Free speech but with a warning that it could be done again. This opened endless possibilities for US companies to buy Tik Tok if it has to remain functional in United States.
10. Before Biden left the Oval office he hastily signed several executive orders, which were canceled by Trump with immediate effect. Every policy will now be rechecked and revaluated before it will be effective again.
11. It is said that Musk has been very influential in this elections and both Trump and Musk act Like Batman and robin here. Musk has been vocal about the workers coming to office full time, as most workers have been working from home since Covid-19 and hasn’t resumed the work at office. He ordered every Federal worker to work full time now from the office rather than working from home.
12. Since Russia-Ukraine war, there has been a shortage of Gas and Oil all across the world. In order to ease the production of oil and gas in the country itself, Trump has declared a “National Emergency” to accrue the production of the the energy sources.
13. He reclassified hundreds and thousands of Federal workers who were considered political hires, making it easier for the Government to fire and replace them.
14. He also took actions regarding deportation of the immigrants with no documents with the help of military power.
15. He also launched a through investigation on the means through which the previous Government administration weaponized the government machinery to act against the opposition.
16. He renamed the Gulf of Mexico as Gulf of America and asked to execute the order in next 30 days.
17. He ordered that only two genders will now be recognized in the United States – male and female. Necessary actions will be taken against those who will go against it.
18.  He declared that he is going to focus more on increasing the fossil fuel production in the state of Alaska. 
19. He ordered that the new federal buildings will be build on the traditional and classical architecture designs and every design must pass from by the Oval office.
20. He made a special order to increase the number of Detention facilities to the homeland security for the migrants and establish a new force called “Homeland Security Task Forces”  in all the states which would keep their main focus on the foreign and domestic cartels, dangerous gangs, drug distribution chain and trafficking of the migrants.
