New Delhi: Following the repeal of Article 370, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to make his maiden trip to Kashmir. He will present many development projects worth over Rs 6,400 crore during his visit, and on Thursday he will speak to a public assembly in Srinagar. According to officials, the prime minister’s rally will take place at Bakshi Stadium, which is covered in the tricolor, as part of the strict security measures put in place to guarantee a safe visit.
According to a statement from the official source, PM Modi will take part in the ‘Viksit Bharat Viksit Jammu Kashmir’ program at the stadium and launch programs worth approximately Rs 5,000 crore that are intended to strengthen the Union Territory’s agricultural economy.

Appointment letters will be given to 1,000 newly hired government employees by PM Modi.
The release further stated that the Prime Minister will meet with recipients of different central initiatives, including women achievers, farmers, and entrepreneurs, and give appointment letters to almost 1,000 recently hired government employees in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the statement, the “Holistic Agriculture Development Programme” (HADP), which the prime minister will introduce, will cover the entire range of activities in the three main domains of horticulture, agriculture, and livestock husbandry. This will significantly boost the agri-economy of the region. About 2.5 lakh farmers are anticipated to receive skill-development training under the program, and robust value chains will be developed for the benefit of the farming community, along with the establishment of about 2,000 farmers’ service centers.
The tourism initiatives that Prime Minister Modi has planned are in line with his goal of improving the entire traveler and pilgrim experience at major pilgrimage and tourism sites around the country. According to the statement, the goal of these projects is to create first-rate amenities and infrastructure at these locations. In addition to the Hazratbal shrine project, the projects include the construction of tourism facilities in different regions throughout the nation.
This covers the Northeast Circuit in Meghalaya, the Rural and Tirthankar Circuit in Bihar, the Spiritual Circuit in Bihar and Rajasthan, and so on. and a few more initiatives in places like Madhya Pradesh and Telangana.Apart from the previously mentioned endeavors, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to unveil 43 projects that are intended to improve different tourist destinations and places of worship across the nation.

Responding to the Prime Minister’s passionate plea for Indian diaspora residents to persuade at least five friends who are not Indian to visit India, the ‘Chalo India Global Diaspora’ Campaign has been launched. More than three crore Indians live abroad as part of the diaspora; as cultural ambassadors, they have enormous potential to greatly influence Indian tourism. The officials also stated that strict security measures have been put in place for the prime minister’s arrival.
Prior to Prime Minister Modi’s journey to Srinagar, security has been greatly increased, with a big number of security officers stationed along the routes he is anticipated to travel. The Prime Minister’s safety has been ensured by the construction of barricades at many areas to limit movement. Drones and CCTV cameras are being used in surveillance operations, and security personnel have increased foot patrols within a two-kilometer radius of the event.
Marine commandos have also been posted in Dal Lake and the Jhelum River to thwart any possible subversive actions involving these bodies of water.
