In a letter that was sent to the Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan on Thursday, Mohsin Dawar, a politician and candidate, expressed his desire to be heard during the parliamentary election that is now taking place in Pakistan. The voting booth in Tappi, which is located in North Waziristan, was allegedly taken over by the Taliban, according to Mohsin. Additionally, he asserted that no less than three female polling agents were assaulted. It is important to note that North Waziristan is a district located in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region of Pakistan, which borders Afghanistan.

By posting the letter that he had written to the Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan on X (which was formerly known as Twitter), Dawar shared it with the public. His post was accompanied by the following caption: “I have written to the CEC urging @ECP_Pakistan to take notice of the security situation in Tappi, N. Waziristan in NA-40 where Taliban have taken over polling stations.” In addition to this, we have submitted a complaint to the police on an assault that occurred there on three of our female polling volunteers.

There are now 12th general elections taking place in Pakistan. As a result of the ongoing election, internet services have been suspended in a number of different regions across the country. Additionally, several political parties have accused that the government were involved in the manipulation of the election.
There have been reports of violence in a number of different regions of the country, despite the fact that thousands of military are being deployed in large numbers. The bombing and shooting event that took place in the northwest region of Pakistan resulted in the deaths of four police officials. Iran and Afghanistan are both experiencing temporary closures of their borders.

During this time, it is anticipated that the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), which is led by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, will emerge as the single largest party in the National Assembly, which has 336 seats. In addition to the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) led by Bilawal Bhutto and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led by Imran Khan, there are also other prominent political groups that are competing for power.

Khan has already been disqualified from running for office, which is an important fact to note. Rawalpindi, which is a military city, is the most recent location where the former Prime Minister is being held in custody. A number of court proceedings have resulted in his conviction.
