Hair Care Tips For Brides On Their Big Day

0

The proper hairdo is essential for your bridal look on your most special day. Having lush, healthy hair makes all the difference. This complete advice from bridal hair care specialists will help you prepare your hair for the big day.

Essential Bride Hair Care Tips Before Her Big Day

Due to their extensive hair care routine, every woman starts planning her bridal look weeks in advance. Brides, Skinlogics cosmetologist Ritu Khariyan offers hair care recommendations you can trust before your wedding day.

“Nobody grows healthy hair overnight, so start the hair care program six months to a year before the wedding to achieve and keep luscious locks. Choose shampoo and conditioner based on your scalp for shiny, healthy hair. Use shampoo and conditioner designed for your hair.”

She also listed:

Trim your hair regularly to promote rapid growth. 8-12 weeks is enough for hair growth. The ends of our hair are most damaged and prone to breakage owing to dryness. For long hair, cut it regularly to avoid fraying or breaking. Good hair growth can be promoted by regular scalp massages.

Avoid washing hair with hot water to prevent grey and dry hair. To avoid removing hair of its natural oils, wash it with lukewarm water.

A moisturising shampoo and conditioner helps maintain hair healthy, but a weekly deep conditioning treatment mask can hydrate the scalp and hair follicles. Hair treatments like ‘hair slugging’ can improve hair health. ‘Slugging’ is nightly hair mask use. Scalp heat can ‘activate’ therapy formulas, aiding product penetration. Apply deep conditioner to mid-lengths and ends for hair slug.

Maintaining hydration benefits both your skin and hair. Drink three litres of water daily to strengthen and develop hair.

Hairspray and heat should be avoided weeks before the wedding. Hair can split, frizz, and weaken with heat treatment.

Fully wash and dry hair before styling on the big day.Wash hair morning or night before the wedding. Regular shampoo and conditioner follow. Avoid lotions and oils.

Other Hair Care Tips

HairOriginals founder and CEO Jitendra Sharma advised new brides on extra tips.

Regular trims and cuts add texture to natural hair and allow extensions to blend in.

Maintain a hair care routine using the proper products. Use this technique to keep your extensions looking natural and long-lasting.

Start regular hair spa treatments 2-3 months before the wedding. If you have extensions, ask your stylist about spa treatments that won’t impact bonding.

Hair coloring: Choose coloured streaks instead of last-minute coloring. Different hair streaks can match the event and attire for brides.

Healthy Diet: Protein- and vitamin-rich foods improve hair and extensions.

Finally, Zalon Co-Founder Ayush Ahuja said, “Your wedding theme and personal style should determine your haircut. Together with your hairdresser, discover a look that suits your journey, whether you like classic updos or flowing curls.New brides should use sulphate-free shampoos, buy a decent hair mask, and nourish hair with at-home hydration masks. Weekly hair oiling with pure coconut or olive oil nourishes the scalp and length, making hair lustrous. Remember, confidence is the best accessory. A personalized and full hair care plan will make you shine on your big day and every day after.”

Congress On Rahul Gandhi-Led Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra Manipur Route Map Thoubal Modi BJP

0

On January 14, the Congress party will begin the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra from Thoubal, Manipur, spanning 100 Lok Sabha segments in 15 states over 6,713 miles. The party announced that Rahul Gandhi, the yatra’s leader, will arrive in Imphal at 11 am and begin from the Khongjom War Memorial.

ANI said that Congress General Secretary (Communications) Jairam Ramesh explained the yatra’s larger purpose: “A political party is organizing the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. We go yatra for political reasons to safeguard the Constitution. It is an ideological, not electoral, yatra.”

He pointed out the distinction between political and electoral yatras.

The yatra raises awareness of unemployment, price hikes, and social justice. The Congress claims the initiative will restore the Constitution’s principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity after the government failed to address them in Parliament.

“PM Modi displays bright dreams of Amritkal, but ‘the last 10 years have been a period of injustice’. Jairam Ramesh said the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ is being held in memory of the last decade’s social, economic, and political injustice.

The yatra will be noteworthy in Manipur, which has struggled with ethnic conflict since May. After a day in Manipur, the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will visit Nagaland, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra

A route map has been shared for the day-long march in strife-hit Manipur

The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra would cover 110 districts, 100 Lok Sabha seats, and 337 assembly divisions in 67 days, ending in Mumbai on March 20 or 21. With a Nyay hymn titled “Saho Mat, Daro Mat” (do not suffer, do not be terrified), the Congress has called the yatra a protest against the perceived injustices of the last decade.

Congress Invites I.N.D.I.A. Leaders To  ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’

After disappointing assembly elections, the Congress needs the march’s timing to revive its political position. The party wants to focus on bread-and-butter matters rather than emotional issues like the Ram temple consecration.

PTI reports that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and other officials will launch the yatra in Thoubal. The party has also asked I.N.D.I.A. leaders to join the yatra at any stage.

Kharge announced on X that the party invited I.N.D.I.A. bloc leaders for the Congress footmarch again, “Everyone is pleased with the seat-sharing agreements. I and Rahul Gandhi invited all Indian parties to the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.”

Rahul Gandhi will address groups and meet with civil society and organizations twice a day during the yatra, sticking to a timetable.

Congress views the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra as a continuation of the 2022 Bharat Jodo Yatra, which helped it win elections in Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, and Telangana.

Who are shankaracharyas and why do they matter in Santhan Hinduism?

0

In Advaita Vedanta, one of Hinduism’s major philosophical schools, “shankaracharya” refers to the leaders of monastic institutions (mathas). “Shankaracharya” refers to the early 8th-century philosopher and theologian Adi Shankaracharya’s Advaita tradition.

Adi Shankaracharya revived and solidified Advaita Vedanta, which emphasizes non-dualism. Advaita Vedanta says Brahman is attribute-free and Atman is Brahman. Shankaracharya’s ideas shaped Hindu philosophy and reconciled its many factions.

The leaders of Adi Shankaracharya’s four monastic establishments (mathas) in India are called “Shankaracharya”. The institutes are:

The first matha founded by Adi Shankaracharya is Sringeri Sharada Peetham in Karnataka.

Adi Shankaracharya founded the western matha, Dwaraka Sharada Peetham, in Gujarat.

Puri Govardhana Peetham is Adi Shankaracharya’s eastern matha in Odisha.

Adi Shankaracharya founded Jyotirmath (Joshimath) in Uttarakhand.

Advaita Vedanta’s preservation, propagation, and interpretation depend on Shankaracharyas. They are spiritual leaders and Hindu tradition and philosophy experts. They also teach Vedanta and related scriptures at their mathas.

Shankaracharyas are important in Sanatan Hindu Dharma because they preserve a philosophical legacy and contribute to Hinduism’s intellectual and spiritual history. They are admired for their research, mentoring, and attempts to spread Vedanta and Hindu philosophy.

Everything you want to know about Yemen’s involvement of war in the history

0

US and UK have launched a war against Yemen, in extension to the Israel- Palestine war.

Yemen has a complicated history of wars. Yemen has been involved in several major wars:

1962–1970 North Yemen Civil War:

After a coup against Imamate control in North Yemen, republican and royalist factions fought for power.
Saudi Arabia and Jordan backed royalists, while Egypt supported republicans.
Northern Yemen became the Yemen Arab Republic in 1970, ending the war.

South Yemen Civil War (1986):

People’s Democratic Republic of Yemen (South Yemen) had internal struggle between Yemeni Socialist Party groups.
A reunion attempt with North Yemen followed the southern president’s defeat.
Yemeni Unification (1990):

On May 22, 1990, North and South Yemen became the Republic of Yemen.
Internal economic and political conflicts hampered union.

Yemeni Civil War (1994):

Increasing tensions between northern and southern factions led to a brief but violent civil war in 1994.
Southern armies were defeated, strengthening the northern administration.
From 2004 to present: Houthi Insurgency

In the northern Saada Governorate, Zaidi Shia rebels called the Houthi movement rose out against the Yemeni government.
Many rounds of violence between Houthi rebels and government forces occurred over the years.

Arab Spring (2011):

Yemen saw protests against President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s three-decade rule inspired by the Arab Spring.
A transition plan mediated by the GCC led to Saleh’s resignation and the election of his deputy, Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

2014–present: Houthi Takeover and Saudi-led Intervention

Houthi rebels stormed Sanaa in 2014 and forced President Hadi to flee to Saudi Arabia.
To fight Houthi influence and restore the Hadi administration, a coalition of Arab governments led by Saudi Arabia and supported by the US launched a military intervention in March 2015.
A prolonged and terrible war has caused widespread displacement, starvation, and disease epidemics.

Yemen’s situation is fluid and evolving, with political solutions sought.

Iran condemns US, UK attack on Sanaa over Red Sea Houthi operations

0

According to Iranian official media, Iran criticized the US-UK attack on Houthis in Yemen on Friday, warning that it will increase “insecurity and instability” in the region.”We strongly condemn the military attacks carried out this morning by the United States and the United Kingdom on several cities in Yemen,” Iran’s foreign ministry spokeswoman Nasser Kannani told Reuters.

The attacks violated Yemen’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and international law, he claimed.

“These attacks are a clear violation of Yemen’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and a breach of international laws,” Reuters said.

After US and UK airstrikes against Houthi positions in Yemen, these comments were made. This is the first military engagement in the country since the Iran-backed organization began attacking Red Sea ships in late 2023.

US President Joe Biden stated late Thursday night that he will take more steps if necessary.

“These targeted strikes are a clear message that the United States and our partners will not tolerate attacks on our personnel or allow hostile actors to imperil freedom of navigation,” stated Biden.

Britain’s Ministry of Defence claimed “early indications are that the Houthis’ ability to threaten merchant shipping has taken a blow.”

A Houthi spokesperson acknowledged “raids” in Sanaa, Saada, Dhamar, and Hodeidah governorate. Officials called these acts “American-Zionist-British aggression.”

Witnesses told Reuters that Thursday’s airstrikes targeted a military base near Sanaa airport, a military site near Taiz airport, a Houthi naval station in Hodeidah, and military targets in Hajjah. Current airstrikes show the rapid escalation of tensions between Israel and Hamas in the Middle East since October.

A US official told Reuters that aircraft, ships, and submarines carried out the airstrikes. The official said over a dozen targets were targeted, underlining that the strikes were not symbolic but meant to weaken the Houthis’ military.

The Houthis, who rule most of Yemen, ignored UN and other appeals to stop missile and drone attacks on Red Sea maritime lines. Houthi rebels defied US warnings about potential consequences.

The Houthis have assaulted 27 ships, interrupting 15% of global marine activity on the Europe-Asia route. The rebel organization will strike any Israeli or Israeli-bound ship. However, several targeted ships had no Israeli ties.

The Houthis say their attacks boost Gaza’s Hamas.

In Jharkhand, BJP delegation meets family of burned girl, provides financial aid

0

India, Dumka (Jharkhand), September 1: On Wednesday, BJP leaders Nishikant Dubey, Manoj Tiwari, and Kapil Mishra met with the family of the Class 12 girl who died days after a guy set her on fire in Dumka, Jharkhand.

On Wednesday, Godda MP Dubey claimed the party will give the family money. The delegation gave the family Rs 28 lakh.
The incident was reported by Dumka’s daughter Ankita’s father, grandparents, sister, brother, and family. Saving the Soren family criminals would fail “Hindi tweet by Dubey.
Kapil Mishra, BJP politician, called the girl’s killing a “preplanned murder” and urged a “love jihad angle.”
“Mastermind who? Who taught him? Doing this without training is impossible. Premeditated murder. Love jihad should be investigated. Covering up the incident is appeasement, Mishra remarked.
He also criticized Chief Minister Hemant Soren for not sending representatives to see the girl’s family, saying the administration was “trying to cover up the incident”.
“The elected government is covering up the incident. The local MLA is absent. Louis Marandi has supported the family since the beginning. Both Nishikant Dubey and Manoj Tiwari are from Delhi. Why is the chief minister not visiting family? Why has the DSP not been fired? Mishra said these are significant questions.
BJP delegation member Manoj Tiwari requested “strictest” punishment for the perpetrators.

Family members of the deceased girl were contacted. The family received Rs 28 lakh from us. No Jharkhand government representative came here, which astonished me. How could they help someone who cannot stand? The guilty should be punished harshly. “Dumka is a small town, but the incident seems to have long roots,” he remarked.
After the Jharkhand Child Welfare Committee recommended adding sections to the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, the police incorporated them.
After finding that the girl was a minor on her Class 10 board exam mark sheet, not an adult as alleged by the police, the committee issued the recommendation.
The Jharkhand Child Welfare Committee advises the SP to introduce POCSO Act clauses. The Committee found that the dead was 15 and 19, as stated by Police in her statement “Dumka PR Office indicated earlier.
A Dumka Bench of Magistrate, Child Welfare Committee, took suo motu cognizance of the girl’s alleged murder, according to the PRO.
Dumka CWC chairperson Amarendra Kumar told ANI that the deceased girl’s certificates proved she was 15 years old, hence the Superintendant of Police was asked to add POCSO Act sections to the case.
“We noticed spontaneously. We checked her certificates at home and learned she was 15 years, 9 months old. Following this, we asked the SP to add POCSO Act sections and take stern action. Kumar stated the Police Station In-charge called us yesterday to offer such advice.
We learned via media that the girl claimed to be 19. Though the Magistrate recorded the statement, we don’t know what happened. Thus, only the Magistrate can recall what the girl stated “Kumar added.
The girl’s father added, “My daughter is 16, but the police may have misheard her age while she was providing testimony owing to her burn injuries. Police took her Aadhaar card and class 10th certificate to fix it.”
