There is a crisis on the streets of Ceuta as the city is facing severe social unrest and several kinds of protests and a severe humanitarian crisis.

This is a result of hundreds and thousands of migrants who have crossed the borders of Morocco.

More than 70,000 migrants have crossed into the Spanish country in late July of 2026.

The influx could not be stopped; however, it is estimated that most of them have returned back to Morocco. But still, more than 10,000 people are still living in Ceuta.

Since there is adequate place for them to live, they are living on the streets, in the office centers, and wherever they could find a place to settle down. They are sleeping on roads literally. The sidewalks, the public places, the local beaches, you can find them everywhere.

Over time, the local frustration has now escalated.

The street demonstrations started, and soon they turned into clashes.

There is governmental unrest in the public, and the protesters have started to fire the makeshift camps of these migrants which the Red Cross Society has put them.

There is a concern over the sanitation problems and the safety problems, and the protesters are demanding government action over it.

The government of Spain has apologized to the people of Spain and Ceuta and announced that they are planning to build temporary reception facilities to accommodate these migrants and to clear the streets of these individuals.

Leftist ideologist like Irene Montero, a user on X who calls herself a psychologist, a feminist, a mother of three, and a member of the European Parliament for the Podemos calls the protesters who are fighting against these illegal migrants as Nazis.

She writes on X that nazis from all over Spain are heading to Ceuta armed with sticks to go out and hunt migrants, and the police are letting them do it with the order to beat migrants and grant impunity to racists. The government is sending a dangerous message: migrants are not people. Being a nazi is fine.

Several ex-users have retorted that how many North African Muslim invaders did she reside in her own home?

She is also accused of calling everyone a Nazi and evil, except for the depraved and sexual aggressors who have raped girls and women there.

Protestors are claiming that the migrants are raping women and creating chaos in the city.

It is, however, unjustified to call all the citizens of the city Ceuta as evil and nazis because they are doing nothing but saving the city. To save their own city, they should not be called nazis anyways.

One user has also shared a video where he is traveling on the streets of Ceuta at night and sees that there are migrants sleeping on the sidewalks everywhere.

In a very interesting video shared by Visegrad24, it is seen that a Moroccan woman who has Dutch citizenship and is living in Ceuta is supporting the illegal migrants from Morocco. She gets booed by the locals for supporting the invasion.

She also says that Europe is at fault and the migrants have a right to be there. She finishes by saying that it is time for Africa. Not much of what she says makes any sense.
