Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon have dubbed for Obsession, and it is mind-boggling.

This morning, a short trailer was released on X (formerly Twitter), made exclusively for the Hindi premiere of the movie Obsession. The film has created ripples across the world with its extremely low budget and its tricky, amusing filmmaking. It has crossed $500 million worldwide, against a reported budget of just $750,000.

To promote the film, JioHotstar has hired Bollywood stars Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan to dub the film in Hindi. The film has been written and directed by Curry Barker, a young American filmmaker and YouTuber.
The film follows a lonely young man called Bear, who works at a music store and struggles socially. He falls for his co-worker Nikki, but he cannot find the courage to tell her. During a visit to a store, he finds a mysterious novelty item called the One Wish Willow, which grants one wish when broken. Using it, he wishes that Nikki would love him more than anyone in the world, and she does. Eventually, things go very dark.
The uncut version will stream on October 30 at 7 pm on The Peacock Hub on JioHotstar, in both English and Hindi, just before Halloween.
A lot of users have been confused about whether Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan have remade this film. That is not the case. The film has not been remade, and they have only dubbed the characters. Also, director Amar Kaushik, who has also directed films like Stree and Bhediya, has made a small trailer for the film, taking hints from a scene at the beginning of Obsession.
